How to go on safari in Pendjari National Park?
To make your safari a success in the Pendjari park located in the north of Benin, you must ensure efficient logistics from your arrival at Cotonou airport in Benin until the end of your trip in Benin. Your arrival at Cotonou airport
After the usual formalities, in particular PCR tests (see reception conditions) Our driver will supports at Cotonou airport.
Depending on your time of arrival at the airport, we can consider two solutions,
Either a direct transfer to your hotel in Natitingou (about 650 km),
Or, you spend the night in a hotel in Cotonou. As standard, our service does not include your hotel in Cotonou because you can easily book and pay for your hotel online. However, we have solutions to meet your accommodation rental need in Cotonou.
Direct transfer from Cotonou airport to Natitingou.
This solution can only be done if your flight arrives in Cotonou before 7 am.
For logistical reasons, the transfer to Natitingou will be by individual vehicle (4x4 or minibus), the package will include reception at the airport, a breakfast break, and a picnic basket for the trip.

By bus to Natitingou
Buses provide the daily connection to Natitingou.
Several companies provide this daily connection with air-conditioned buses, departures are around 7 am and depending on traffic conditions, you will arrive in Natitingou between 7 and 8 pm.
Our package includes, the purchase of return tickets, the transfer from your hotel towards Cotonou bus station, your welcome on arrival at the bus station in Natitingou by our guide. Meal costs during the trip are not included.
Transfer to Natitingou by individual vehicle.
Depending on the size of your group, we suggest providing you with either a 4x4 with a driver guide approved by the Pendjari Park management (maximum 5 people), or a minibus that will drop you off directly at your Hotel in Natitingou and will park in Natitingou during your safari.
The package includes: the rental of the vehicle, the rental of the minibus parked during the safari, the salary of the driver or guide driver, his living expenses during the rental period, fuel for the outward and return journey

All our safaris start in Natitingou. It takes around 2 hours to get to the entrance to Pendjari Park. In addition, our guides live in Natitingou and can therefore easily welcome you on your arrival from Cotonou.

For the 2021/2022 safari season, only the Pendjari Safari Lodge is open, under these conditions our packages will only include this type of accommodation. The package bivouac is suspended pending the reopening of the camping area.
We offer your safari in the Pendjari Park from 132 € , per person for 2 days and one night, based on 4 adult participants (2 Beninese, 2 foreigners), Hosted in double safari tents departing from Natitingou. This price includes the rental of the fitted vehicle, fuel for 500 km, the driver guide and his costs, entrance fees to the park and accommodation in a safari tent and tourist taxes.
This price does not include the cost of food during the safari in the park which we can integrate as an option.

Presentation of Pendjari Safari Lodge
Your accommodation is located 50 km from the entrance to the park in the heart of the Pendjari park, It is powered by solar panels, and is located in front of a pond on a hill, from the Lodge terrace you can observe the animals coming to drink
The Pendjari Lodge offers different types of accommodation to suit every budget, a restaurant and a swimming pool. The set is made for your comfort (bathroom, toilets) and your relaxation (wifi access, satellite television), while respecting the park environment (canvas structure).
The price varies according to the season: Low season November 2021, July and August 2022. High season, from December 2021 to June 2022. The Lodge will close for this season on August 15, 2022.

You benefit from a private equipped terrace comfortable chairs with a view of the water point allowing you to observe the animals coming to drink. This accommodation is included in our basic package.

The family tent in the Parc de la Pendjari
The Pendjari Lodge offers large air-conditioned family tents of 103 square meters overlooking the water points of the Pendjari. This large tent has two bedrooms, the parents' bedroom with a large double bed, the children's bedroom with two beds, each bedroom has access to a bathroom with shower and toilet and a private outdoor shower. A lounge area of 14 m2 with sofa in the central part which overlooks a private infinity pool of 6 x 3 meters.
